PM Athletic Facilities Reopening Plan – June 1, 2020

General Information

Workouts are not mandatory. If you do not feel comfortable attending workouts or training sessions please stay at home.

  • Face masks or coverings must be worn in common areas
  • Please maintain a social distance of 6ft. or greater
  • Avoid all physical contact with others
  • Remember to routinely and thoroughly wash your hands
  • Equipment and apparel should not be shared
  • Please cover coughs/sneezes
  • Clean and disinfect any equipment immediately after use


Student-athletes should enter through the south entrance of the school. After the workout, student-athletes should wait in the courtyard/visitor’s parking lot. Please remember to keep a six-foot distance while awaiting pickup. 


Student-athletes must complete the self-screening symptom sheet before entering the building. If a student-athlete or an immediate relative is feeling under the weather, the student-athlete must stay at home until he/she has been 24 hours fever-free.


All locker rooms will be closed. Student-athletes should arrive in their workout gear and be ready to go. You may not leave any items at school.

Restrooms/Water Fountains

Student-athletes will only be permitted to use the restrooms located at the south entrance of the school. Remember to thoroughly wash your hands for at least 20 seconds. You will not be able to use the water fountains so we ask that you bring your own water.

Group Sizes

Group sizes will be limited to no more than 10 indoors. Outdoor group sizes will not exceed more than 50. Both indoor and outdoor groups will be required to maintain a 6ft or greater social distance.

Cleaning Equipment and Surfaces

Student-athletes and coaches will be given a checklist to ensure that they are disinfecting the areas and equipment they used. Purcell Marian will provide disinfectant and paper towels to wipe down surfaces and equipment after use throughout the facilities. Janitorial staff will be cleaning commons areas between sessions.
